The Knockout Rounds, in their new incarnation, have been livened considerably. Not only can rival judges steal the losing (but still worthy and promising) competitor in a knockout duel, but the judge who pitted them against each other in the first place, and even selected the winner of the challenge, nonetheless can issue a new lifeline, a Save, and retain them both. Add to that the fact that former Voice winners are brought in, for the first time, as mentors for this round, and you’ve got a lot more energy and entertainment than before. Tonight, Round 3 of these vastly improved Knockouts.
