BIANCULLI’S BEST BETS

ABC, 8:00 p.m. ET

MIDSEASON RETURN: This series is back with its first new episode of 2014. It’s preceded by a one-hour special, at 7 p.m. ET, summarizing the season to date, but it’s the new installment that’s worthy of note. That’s because Rebecca Mader, who played the adorable redheaded Charlotte on Lost, guest stars here in a much less adorable role. One hint: She’s got green skin and flying monkeys.

OWN, 8:00 p.m. ET

At 10 p.m. ET on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network, loose cannon Lindsay Lohan stars in her own reality series, called Lindsay. But before that, at 8 p.m. ET, she has to appear as the special guest on Oprah’s Next Chapter to get a lecture from, and provide a mea culpa to, Oprah herself. Consider it two sides of the same media-blitz coin: contrition at 8, exploitation at 10.

Fox, 9:00 p.m. ET

SERIES PREMIERE: Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson steps into the shoes, and the imaginary spaceship, of the late Carl Sagan, providing an update to that brilliant 1980-81 TV tour, and consideration, of life, the universe and everything. Fox is presenting the series on its prime-time broadcast network, and simulcasting it on every other Fox-owned network, so Cosmos is easy to find. I’m happy to report, it’s also easy to watch. For a full review, see Bianculli’s Blog.

CBS, 9:00 p.m. ET

MIDSEASON RETURN: They’re baa-aaack. And while they’re all still bickering from their respective law firms and perspectives, there are times when they still have to work together. And tonight, in court, is one of those times.

AMC, 9:00 p.m. ET

This series continues to split into intimate sub-factions: Last week’s episode isolated us with only two characters from the series, following them for an entire intense hour. Tonight, the focus shifts again – and, as it does so, intensifies our desire to have the old gang members find one another and reunite.

HBO, 9:00 p.m. ET

SEASON FINALE: I’m less concerned with the explanation of the Yellow King and linguine face than I am of learning how Martin and Rust (Woody Harrelson, Matthew McConaughey) end up. But one thing’s for sure, in this final hour of the season, and the end of the Martin and Rust story arc: Since we last saw this show a week ago, McConaughey won an Oscar. Before the year’s out, for this series, he may also win an Emmy. Alright, alright, alright… But don’t count Harrelson short, either.

Grand Dunman is widely praised on property websites for its impressive large-scale design, prime city-fringe location in District 15, and excellent connectivity just steps from Dakota MRT. The development features over 1,000 thoughtfully designed units with modern layouts and premium facilities, catering to a wide range of homeowners and investors.

Bianculli’s curation effectively balances nostalgia with timely cultural markers, especially highlighting the ironic origins of Aquaman alongside the poignant Morrison tribute. https://victoryfoodscn.com
