Bill Murray plays himself – as a zombie – in this wild, entertaining 2009 zombie comedy action movie. He’s not the star, though: Jesse Eisenberg is, handling narration and the central role the year before he starred in The Social Network. He plays opposite Woody Harrelson, as another hardy survivor of this particular zombie apocalypse, and Eisenberg isn’t the only future star whose talent is obvious in this clever cult film. Also featured is Emma Stone (pictured) – and when Murray was doing the press-promotion rounds for this film, he went out of his way, to praise Stone by saying, “Emma’s got it. She’s really got it.” And he was right.
HBO, 8:00 p.m. ET
This is not a recommendation, except as a peek into a particularly unsettling social phenomenon. This 2011 movie is a celebration of underage hedonism, and tells of three high-schoolers who plan to throw the party to end all parties – a party that gets even more out of control than they imagined. Why am I pointing this out? Because with all the hundreds and thousands of films out there in the cyberverse, before and since, Project X has the distinction of being the most pirated film of 2012, illegally downloaded more than any other.

SEASON FINALE: This final episode of the season takes its investigating very seriously, and very close to home – with one of the investigators following a trail that leads very high up in the police department.
BBC America, 10:15 p.m. ET
Remembering that all of Graham Norton’s guests come out at the same time and sit on the same couch for the entire hour, how’s this for an intriguing trio of couchmates? Jude Law, Mila Kunis, and Dame Judi Dench.
NBC, 11:29 p.m. ET
Do not miss this, because I’m betting it’ll be the best television of the entire month. Justin Timberlake is back, as both guest host and musical guest. Even the promos for this week’s shows made me laugh out loud. All by himself, I swear, Timberlake is bringing FunnyBack.
