We’re hopeful that the Best Bets switch should be back on perhaps in a matter of weeks, more or less. (And after 35 years of “Bets,” it's maybe more of a surprise that it hasn’t been offline once in awhile…)

Also, you might have noticed that the biannual Television Critics Association “press tour” in Beverly Hills is back on for the next couple of weeks. Our own David Hinckley will be sending in daily updates on what the broadcast and cable networks, cable channels, and streaming sites will have in store for the fall and 2017. It will be a busy few weeks of TV news and opinion.
