BIANCULLI’S BEST BETS

Hulu, 3:00 a.m. ET

SERIES PREMIERE: This 10-episode series, created by Mindy Kaling, is structurally similar to Noah Hawley’s FX series Fargo: It takes its inspiration from a 1990s movie, but takes only the spirit, creating its own plots and characters while using the film’s familiar title. This Hulu version of Four Weddings and a Funeral – again, like TV’s Fargo, neither a sequel nor a remake – starts in New York, where an American political operative named Maya flies to London to reunite with friends still living there for a wedding. The rom part of this romcom begins literally as soon as her plane lands at Heathrow Airport, because she meets – and meets cute – a Pakistani financier. The premiere feels a bit too written, and polished, but the actors are appealing, and the interactions sometimes land as wryly funny. Maya is played by Nathalie Emmanuel, who’s more than capable of handling a series lead. She was last seen on HBO’s Game of Thrones, as Daenerys’ ill-fated handmaiden and assistant, Missandei. Nikesh Patel plays Kash, the guy Maya meets at the airport. For a full review, see David Hinckley's All Along the Watchtower, and for highlights from the Four Weddings and a Funeral session at TCA, see Mike Hughes Open Mike

CNN, 8:00 p.m. ET

Last night’s debate had the potential candidates with the highest poll rankings on the stage that night, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, fighting with other candidates instead of each other, and both emerged victoriously as a result. Tonight, the overall leading candidate, Joe Biden, has the center stage. Flanking him on either side: Kamala Harris, who upped her own profile by challenging him the last time, along with Cory Booker, Julian Castro, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Bill de Blasio.

CW, 8:00 p.m. ET

SEASON FINALE: This delightful, playful series is saying goodbye by presenting a double feature of its final two episodes. And since over-the-top telenovela twists and turns have been an integral part of Jane the Virgin from the start, expect major helpings of that as the series reaches the end.

IFC, 10:00 p.m. ET

SERIES PREMIERE: Okay, this show is really, really weird. Which I mean, of course, as a compliment. It’s a bit like another IFC meta series, Documentary Showcase, which claims to be a long-standing TV series and presents closely designed parodies of actual nonfiction films. Sherman’s Showcase does that for a Soul Train type variety and dance show, but also takes an SCTV approach, expanding its parody approach to includes commercials, promos for other shows, and so on. This eight-part series is co-created by Bashir Salahuddin and Diallo Riddle. Salahuddin plays the title character, TV host Sherman McDaniel, and Riddle plays his producer, Dutch. John Legend introduces the series – and, in real life, is another of the IFC series’ executive producers.

Para penipu ini benar-benar bajingan, berbohong kepada orang-orang dan mencuri uang seperti penipu kotor yang sebenarnya.
