Richard Schickel, Clint Eastwood’s biographer and the documentarian who made The Eastwood Factor in 2010, presents a new TCM companion piece, focusing specifically on Eastwood’s work behind the camera. That part of the actor’s career began more than 40 years ago,with 1971’s Play Misty for Me, and includes Best Director (and Best Picture) Oscar wins for 1992’s Unforgiven and 2004’s Million Dollar Baby. Interviewees for this new biography include Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Meryl Streep and Eastwood himself.
