In tonight’s new episode, Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) visits her mother, played by Tovah Feldshuh – who sent Rebecca into a tailspin not too long ago by surreptitiously dosing her with mood-alerting drugs. This time, however Rebecca acts, and whatever musical fantasies she envisions and embodies, the inspiration comes from her imagination, not her medicines.
