The sands keep shifting underneath the couples on this show. Just when it looked as though Sarah (Lauren Graham) might get back together with resurfaced ex-boyfriend Mark (Jason Ritter), he announced his engagement… to someone else. Just when it appeared Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) might sell the house, maybe he won’t. And just when it seemed Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) might gravitate back together, she pursues her interest with another man. Things change week to week on this show, just as in life.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER

FX, 10:00 p.m. ET

The newest movie from the Marvel universe, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, opens in theaters tomorrow. Tonight, do your homework, and catch up on 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger, which provides the origin story of a superhero who’s not so much super as merely… enhanced. Chris Evans stars.
