SERIES FINALE: Last week, a sudden turn of events threatened to claim the life of Maura Tierney’s Helen. It was a snakebite, suffered while hiking on a mountain trail – but she was with Noah (Dominic West), who got her to the hospital on time. In other words, the former snake Noah, who propelled this entire series with his illicit affair with Ruth Wilson’s alluring waitress Alison, is back at the bedside of the wife he betrayed. And as the final scene faded to the credits, she was flirting with the idea of flirting with that much younger man…
