BIANCULLI’S BEST BETS

MINISERIES PREMIERE: This is a new 10-part Hulu miniseries, based on the account by Lawrence Wright in his Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11. Jeff Daniels and Peter Sarsgaard star as lead terrorist investigators for, respectively, the FBI and CIA, and this drama tells of their long and sometimes conflicting methods of tracing and apprehending the terrorist groups planning one attack after another against U.S. and other properties, eventually resulting in the infamous attack on 9/11. There’s something missing in the retelling, which seems to go through the motions with more concern for accuracy than subtlety – but it’s a true story good enough to hold your interest regardless. MISTER ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE

All this week, in celebration of last week’s golden anniversary of the national public TV premiere of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, PBS KIDS is pairing five memorable episodes of the wonderful Fred Rogers children’s series with similarly themed episodes of its animated spiritual successor, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Today, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood features the dual episode that includes the 15-minute segments “Visiting Grandpere” and “The Tiger Family Goes Home,” accompanied by the original Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood episode, “Grandparents.” Check local listings.

THE ASSASSINATION OF GIANNI VERSACE: AMERICAN CRIME STORY

FX, 10:00 p.m. ET

This is Episode 6 of this latest American Crime Story miniseries. The bodies keep piling up, and so, more and more, do scenes involving characters other than the killer.

WACO

Paramount, 10:00 p.m. ET

MINISERIES FINALE: This is the concluding episode of the Paramount Network’s first big dramatic miniseries. And as any student of the history of this rebellious cult is aware, Waco doesn’t end well.
