A documentary about Frank Zappa? How can it be anything but fascinating… and unusual? The leader of The Mothers of Invention, and a guy who named one of his solo albums Sheik Yerbouti and wrote on the jacket of a Mothers album, “The present-day composer refuses to die,” was as interesting when he wasn’t making music as when he was.
