NFL FOOTBALL: BUFFALO BILLS VS. NEW YORK JETS

CBS, 7:00 p.m. ET

Because of the crippling snowstorms hitting Buffalo and that region, the NFL took the unusual step of not only delaying the Bills’ home game against the New York Jets, but moving it – to Detroit. So tonight, somewhere, your local market will be showing competing editions of Monday Night Football: the official one, on ESPN between the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints, and this one, where neither the Jets nor Bills has home-field advantage. In my TV market, Philadelphia, it’s pre-empting programming on CBS, so look there first. Then, if necessary, keep looking. Check local listings.

DANCING WITH THE STARS

ABC, 8:00 p.m. ET

SEASON FINALE: I haven’t steered readers towards this show all season, but the finale usually is worth a look, because it’s down to the best of that season’s best. And here we are, with final competitions tonight, and a winner decided tomorrow.

Fox, 8:00 p.m. ET

MIDSEASON FINALE: The last episode of the year – but not the season – for Gotham is a very confrontational one, but also a step forward: One of the many people crossing the path of young Bruce Wayne in tonight’s episode is a young woman named Ivy. But he should steer clear of her, because eventually, she’s Poison.

THE VOICE

NBC, 8:00 p.m. ET

Last night, Taylor Swift opened the American Music Awards, performing her newest single – and tonight, in addition to her temporary role as mentor, she performs on The Voice. When it comes to selling and releasing and staging her own music, she makes Lady Gaga look like a slacker.

CW, 9:00 p.m. ET

Last week, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) ended the episode by kissing Rafael – and tonight, Rogelio has a confrontation with Rafael, and he’s not at all happy.
