This season’s primary plot line has allowed series star Emily Rose to play two roles at the same time: good, sweet Audrey Parker and an evil woman who has taken over her body and, most of the time, her personality as well. That may all come to a head in tonight’s episode – but not without incident.

THE INNOCENTS

TBS, 8:00 p.m. ET

Ghost stories continue to be rolled out on Thursdays by TCM – and tonight’s spectacle of spectres begins with The Innocents, the 1961 psychological thriller in which Deborah Kerr stars as a governess hired to oversee two orphaned young siblings – children who appear to be taking on the personalities of the estate’s former governess and chauffeur. Every bit as creepy as it sounds. Based on the story by Henry James, with a screenplay written by, among others, John Mortimer and Truman Capote.

PROJECT RUNWAY

Lifetime, 9:00 p.m. ET

SEASON FINALE: Part 2. A new champion is crowned tonight. And whoever wins will get not only the bragging rights for 2014, but the satisfaction of knowing they’ve emerged victorious from one of the toughest seasons of challenges in the show’s long history.

THE NIGHTMARE BEORE CHRISTMAS

ABC Family, 9:30 p.m. ET

Henry Selick, not Tim Burton, directed this 1993 holiday classic, though it’s based on Burton’s story and characters. And the music is from frequent Burton cohort Danny Elfman, who provides more for this film than just the music. Elfman also is the voice of Jack Skellingon, this movie’s creepy-looking star.

PARENTHOOD

NBC, 10:00 p.m. ET

Many of this show’s characters have been put through the wringer of late. In tonight’s episode, however, promos suggest that Amber, played by Mae Whitman, may actually get a chance to be… happy.
