BIANCULLI’S BEST BETS

ESPN, 6:00 a.m. ET

Saturday’s Round 3 had Brandt Snedeker losing his lead, Adam Scott (pictured) establishing his, Greame McDowell and Ernie Els making impressive runs from behind, and Tiger Woods not gaining ground, but not losing it, either. So to start today’s final round, Scott is at 11-under-par, with McDowell and Snedeker four strokes back, Woods five, and Els six. And if the wind finally starts to blow at the usually punishing Royal Lytham & St. Annes golf course, this final round of the 2012 British Open could be anybody’s to claim. Replays at 2 p.m. ET.

HBO, 9:00 p.m. ET

When so many characters are undead to begin with, it’s tough to surprise with a sudden death – but that’s what happened last week, when one of this season’s most charismatic recurring characters was unexpectedly dispatched (by another one, Denis O’Hare’s Russell, pictured). So it’s clear, this season, the stakes are big. And in the case of vampire offings, I mean that literally.

AMC, 10:00 p.m. ET

This season's second episode sets the scene for what’s going to happen this season, both by introducing a new character and taking full advantage of an old one. The new character is a surprise, but the old one already was reintroduced last week: Mike (played by Jonathan Banks, who’s just a wonderful actor), who’s becoming more central this season, to the series’ plot – and to Walter’s.

HBO, 10:00 p.m. ET

Just days after the nation was stunned by another senseless gun massacre and riveted to cable news operations, HBO presents another new episode of The Newsroom – whose installment last week was all about the 2011 Gabrielle Giffords shooting. That episode was all about hasty reporting and incorrect information, which happened this week as well. For details, see Ed Bark’s Uncle Barky’s Bytes report HERE.

Showtime, 10:30 p.m. ET

The ratings for Pucks continue to slip, and the executive brain trust has an idea how to save its new Matt LeBlanc sitcom: feature less of Matt LeBlanc, and more of the young actors who play his student hockey team members.  LeBlanc can’t believe it – but that’s only one betrayal in tonight’s very funny, fairly twisted episode.

Checking out classic television recommendations and archival TV reviews is always a great way to discover hidden gems and nostalgic shows to watch. Having dedicated guides makes finding quality entertainment so much easier. While discussing classic media and online entertainment options with friends recently, someone also recommended checking out platforms like [thorfortune](https://thorfortunes.it/) for a smooth and engaging user experience. Thanks for sharing this helpful update!

Great breakdown! Having well-written television like this makes evening downtime so much more engaging. When I'm taking a break between episodes or just relaxing after a long day of screen time, I usually unwind for a bit with a few casual rounds on [chicken road](https://chickenroad.gr.com/) before starting the next season. Really appreciate the thoughtful recommendations on this site!
