Every Friday this month, TCM is presenting the films of Judy Garland – and tonight’s lineup covers her output from the late 1940s, starting at 8 p.m. ET with 1946’s The Harvey Girls (pictured). Other films shown tonight include two well-known movie musicals from 1948: Easter Parade (at 10 p.m. ET) and The Pirate, co-starring Gene Kelly (midnight ET).

20/20: "PRINCE: DEATH OF A LEGEND"

ABC, 10:00 p.m. ET

Elizabeth Vargas hosts this instant 20/20 biographical special, celebrating the life and music of Prince, the influential musician, composer and performer who died yesterday at age 57. Most of the tributes yesterday and today have taken the same general, reverential tone: “Nothing Compares 2 U.”

BANSHEE

Cinemax, 10:00 p.m. ET

In Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Eliza Dushku played another vampire slayer, Faith, who had the swagger, the moves, and the charisma to be a badass version of Buffy. Starting tonight, Dushku begins a recurring role on Banshee, and the word is that her character on this series will be even tougher. Though that’s difficult to believe, so until we tune in tonight, I guess we’ll have to take it on Faith.

REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER

HBO, 10:00 p.m. ET

Tonight’s scheduled guests include journalists Lawrence Wright and Lesley Stahl and political commentator Van Jones.
