Tyler Perry narrates and hosts this TV musical special, based loosely on a Netherlands production two years ago (pictured), and the stars are Chris Daughtry as Judas and Jencarlos Canela of Telenovela as Jesus Christ, with Trisha Yearwood as Mary and Seal as Pontius Pilate. As the program progresses, and a 20-foot cross is dragged outside the Superdome, no doubt Fox executives will be praying – for big ratings.
