I don’t suspect that “Who killed Miss Grundy?” is going to ignite the same sort of pop-culture furor as “Who killed Laura Palmer?” – but Archie’s former teacher (and, in this steamier CW adaptation of the Archie comic universe, his lover as well) was indeed killed last week in this show’s Season 2 premiere. The culprit, who shot (but not fatally) Archie’s father in last season’s finale, is now known as the Black Hood. But, for now, that’s all that’s known about the bad guy. Or girl.

2017 NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

TBS, 8:00 p.m. ET

Game 4. The Los Angeles Dodgers are ahead in this series 3-0, and can clinch tonight if it can take a fourth game in a row from the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs are hosting at Wrigley Field – but that didn’t help much in Game 3.

FRONTLINE: "INSIDE YEMEN" & "MOSUL"

PBS, 9:00 p.m. ET

This doubleheader of documentary shorts from Frontline looks at two different battleground hot spots. Mosul accompanies four soldiers in an Iraqi Special Forces team fighting against ISIS in Mosul. Inside Yemen is longtime Frontline filmmaker Martin Smith’s account of the battle between a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi rebels. Check local listings.

MR. ROBOT

USA, 10:00 p.m. ET

Two key questions were answered in last week’s Season 3 premiere. Elliot is alive, and Mr. Robot is alive, too. All other questions? Most of them got murkier, depending upon which universe you happen to be watching. Or believing.
