A week of "Spring Break" movies starts with this 1960 beach classic, which has college kids descending upon Fort Lauderdale, FL to soak up some rays and seek some fun, adventure, hedonism, even love. This film codified the Spring Break experience - and since I grew up in Lauderdale, I get a particular joy out of watching the vintage scenery and hot spots (the Elbo Room still stands, but, except for the beach, that's about it). The stars of this sandy romp include George Hamilton (the role in which he developed his tan) and Dolores Hart (the young starlet who, after a few films such as this opposite Hamilton, Elvis Presley and others, got herself to a nunnery, and became a Benedictine nun).
Fox, 9:00 p.m. ET
On this episode, House (Hugh Laurie) learns that his hooker friend with benefits is getting married. So, to solve the problem of a possible replacement, he holds auditions – at the hospital.

SEASON PREMIERE: The crew that blasted off from Eureka in last year’s cliffhanger season finale return – but for them, it’s five years later, things are odd, and certain people are acting really, truly strange. Which is odd, because some people were acting like that already. But here we go: another slide down the rabbit hole, this time for the final season of this witty, constantly shifting Syfy series.
NBC, 10:00 p.m. ET
Uma Thurman, playing a Hollywood actress brought in to play Marilyn, starts to behave – or misbehave – like a true diva, and complaining about, among other things, the fact that the musical has her breaking into song from time to time. Fans of Firefly and Serenity (the Joss Whedon TV series and subsequent movie), take heed. Tonight’s episode features guest star Adam Baldwin, who, before co-starring on Chuck, played futuristic mercenary Jayne on Firefly. Here, he plays a new partner paired with Nathan Fillion’s Castle – and gets to play, again, opposite Fillion, now the star of Firefly.
