SERIES PREMIERE: This royal family satirical comedy series isn’t as cleverly written as it should be, and is about as subtle as Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which is this new show’s Sunday night lead-in. But since this is the first E! scripted series, that means it’s one less reality hour on the network, so that’s worth applauding. And so, in the wider sense, is this show’s star, Elizabeth Hurley, who fits the throne perfectly. She deserves better scripts, however – as do we all.
