BIANCULLI’S BEST BETS

Various Networks, 2:40 a.m. ET

There’s stuff going on all day on NBCSN and elsewhere – with all of it live on the NBC Olympics site – but today I’m going to be especially selfish and focused, and point out only the USA curling team coverage. From 2-5 p.m. ET on NBCSN, you can watch (as I will), the USA men’s curling team take the ice against Italy. From 5-8 p.m. ET on CNBC, you can see the USA women’s curling team take on their counterparts from Switzerland. And at 11 p.m. ET back on NBCSN, you can watch the men’s curling team again, this time taking on Sweden.

NBC, 3:00 p.m. ET

NBC’s coverage starts in the afternoon from 3-5 p.m. ET, and includes late-night coverage from 1:05-2 a.m. ET tonight, but the prime-time coverage, starting at 8 p.m, ET and running until 12:30 a.m. ET, is the core of the network’s coverage. Scheduled live events during that time block include the men’s short program in figure skating, and the gold medal final runs in men’s skeleton.

ABC, 10:00 p.m. ET

Today’s edition of 20/20 is scheduled to be a special devoted to “Roseanne – The Return,” examining the impending comeback of one of the network’s all-time biggest sitcom hits, Roseanne. Taking part in interviews are former – and future – series regulars Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman and Sarah Chalke, who in the original series portrayed the working-class Conner family (including, in the case of Goranson and Chalke, both Beckys). I wouldn’t be surprised, however, if this scheduled special were delayed so that 20/20 could provide continued coverage of yesterday’s horrific Florida school shooting.

IFC, 10:00 p.m. ET

This final season of Portlandia has been lots of fun, and I’m sure its creators and stars have had lots of fun carrying out one last batch of clever craziness. Take, for example, “Sinkles,” the theme restaurant to make lonely singles feel at home, even when they’re eating out. This theme restaurant doesn’t have tables for one. It has individual working sinks, where diners can stand over to munch morosely on whatever leftovers are brought by the restaurant staffers.

A Secrets Tides Punta Cana Airport Transfer allows travelers to begin their vacation with comfort, convenience, and confidence. After arriving at Punta Cana International Airport, the last thing most visitors want is to spend time searching for transportation or waiting in long lines. Planning airport transportation before departure helps make the arrival process much easier and allows guests to continue directly to the resort.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana is situated in the beautiful Uvero Alto region, approximately 27 miles (44 kilometers) from Punta Cana International Airport. Depending on traffic, the drive usually takes around 45 to 55 minutes. Choosing a Secrets Tides Punta Cana Airport Transfer provides a direct route to the resort, avoiding unnecessary stops that are common with shared transportation.

Newport Residences presents an appealing blend of contemporary design, comfort, and convenient urban living. The development looks thoughtfully planned, with an attractive atmosphere that could suit modern homeowners. I enjoyed reading about Newport Residences and its lifestyle features.
