If you have MGM HD on your cable or satellite system, today’s a good time to find it. Starting at 6 p.m. ET, the station is presenting a triple feature of Pam Grier movies: 1975’s Sheba, Baby (pictured), followed by 1973’s Coffy and the much more recent 1997 homage film, Jackie Brown.

I still miss Michael McKean on Better Call Saul – so I’m extremely happy to report that McKean is back in view tonight, as a guest star on The Good Place. That automatically makes it an even better place, so make sure to tune in.

CBS, 9:30 p.m. ET

Tonight’s new episode is titled “The Coma and the Oxford Comma.” I note it with particular glee, because my children once ridiculed me for drilling them at dinner about “the penultimate comma,” until one of them encountered it (and understood it) during an opening-day lecture at law school. So there are reasons, after all, to be grateful for parents’ advice, information, and bad jokes. (Can you find the Oxford comma in that previous sentence?)
