Once again, I’m so glad this new NBC series is here. And hey, any comedy series that starts out making fun of Fresh Air can’t be all bad. And watch, tonight, for co-star Holly Hunter, having a blast as Ted Danson’s co-opted former adversary. I don’t think she’d had this much fun, or been this funny, since working with James L. David Bianculli has been a TV critic since 1975, including a 14-year stint at the New York Daily News, and sees no reason to stop now. Currently, he's TV critic for NPR's Fresh Air with Terry Gross, and is an occasional substitute host for that show.
