SEAON PREMIERE: Season 2 of
Victoria begins on
Masterpiece tonight, with the captivating Jenna Coleman returning as the young, increasingly determined and powerful monarch. Diana Rigg, last seen on
Game of Thrones, will join the cast this season, but the action begins squarely on Coleman’s Queen, who rails against being pampered, and sequestered from the real action of the court, after giving birth. Like one particular American long after her reign, she wants to be in the room where it happens. Incidentally, I’m not the only fan of
