BIANCULLI’S BEST BETS

Various Networks, 2:40 a.m. ET

NBCSN is wall-to-wall today: 24 uninterrupted of coverage, some of it live, from early morning today until the same time tomorrow, at which time the cycle begins again. Highlights will vary according to your interests, but mine includes the live coverage, at 7:10 a.m. ET, of the USA women’s hockey team facing the Olympic athletes from Russia – competing individually, not representing their nation, because of Russia’s official exclusion from this year’s Winter Games. Also, late at night, at 12:30 a.m. ET, NBCSN presents delayed coverage of men’s curling. It’s the U.S team during this year’s host nation, South Korea, and the crowd reaction, no matter what it is, ought to be fascinating. Other delayed curling action is provided today on CNBC, with its only televised event of the day: the gold medal match in mixed doubles curling.

NBC, 3:00 p.m. ET

On NBC, the scheduled live coverage for outdoor events is held hostage to the already inclement and unpredictable weather, so both women’s alpine skiing in the slalom, including the gold medal run, and the gold medal final in the halfpipe for men’s snowboarding may be postponed. But the pairs’ short program in figure skating will proceed as scheduled live in prime time, in the 8-11:30 p.m. ET NBC block. Coverage also runs on the network today from 3-5 p.m. ET and from 12:05-1:30 a.m. ET, with most events available live on NBC’s Olympics website.

PBS, 9:00 p.m. ET

Before Wall Street crashed in the 1920s, it exploded. In 1920, Morgan Bank, then the world’s biggest financial institution, was targeted by that era’s equivalent of a car bomb: a horse-drawn cart filled with dynamite. The resultant explosion killed 38 people (and, presumably, at least one horse). The brazen act of violence, and the determination to solve the crime, helped launch the career of a young investigator named J. Edgar Hoover – but the motives, and the perpetrators, proved maddeningly elusive. Check local listings. For a full review, see David Hinckley's All Along the Watchtower.

PBS, 10:00 p.m. ET

During his State of the Union Address, President Donald Trump referenced the violent gang MS-13. Tonight on Frontline, an investigation examines a series of murders on Long Island linked to the young gang, and how immigrants often are both perpetrators and victims of the killings. Check local listings.

Comedy Central, 10:00 p.m. ET

The story of Gloria Steinem’s infiltration of the Playboy Club to write a magazine article exposé  is one of the drunken tales related in this new episode. Tonight’s topic on Drunk History: sex. And for those who say the two don’t mix, perhaps they haven’t been doing it right. (If memory serves…)

A Secrets Tides Punta Cana Airport Transfer allows travelers to begin their vacation with comfort, convenience, and confidence. After arriving at Punta Cana International Airport, the last thing most visitors want is to spend time searching for transportation or waiting in long lines. Planning airport transportation before departure helps make the arrival process much easier and allows guests to continue directly to the resort.

Secrets Tides Punta Cana is situated in the beautiful Uvero Alto region, approximately 27 miles (44 kilometers) from Punta Cana International Airport. Depending on traffic, the drive usually takes around 45 to 55 minutes. Choosing a Secrets Tides Punta Cana Airport Transfer provides a direct route to the resort, avoiding unnecessary stops that are common with shared transportation.
