The various story lines on this season’s Penny Dreadful are starting to intertwine. Dr. Frankenstein is about to try and lure one of his old creations, played by Billie Piper, back under his influence, with the help of Dr. Jekyll. (But she may have plans of her own, as seen in the accompanying picture.) Ethan has survived his pursuers, and his father, in the Old West, thanks to help from Sir Malcolm – and Vanessa is being threatened even more aggressively by Dracula.
