Everybody back in the pool: Tonight’s episode returns to “The Pool,” a memorable setting, and episode, from Season 1, for more memories… and more conflicts. Meanwhile, on the set of M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, Kevin has a big scene (pictured), and, when the cameras are through rolling, an even bigger conversation.
ABC, 10:00 p.m. ET
Last week’s premiere episode laid on the improbabilities rather thickly, and tried a bit too much to be ABC’s newest mysterious-mystery series – but Allison Tolman from FX’s Fargo remains an instantly appealing series lead, and, playing police chief Jo Evans here, she’s helped by such likable veterans as Clancy Brown and Donald Faison. Alexa Swinton plays the mysterious little girl she finds at a beachfront plane crash site, and after one episode, all we know is that lots of other people are after the girl, and that the girl has mysterious paranormal powers. Tonight, round two.
PBS, 10:00 p.m. ET
