The latest one-week streaming premiere from
National Theatre at Home is a special telecast of the 2014 stage production of William Shakespeare’s
Coriolanus, performed at the Donmar Warehouse at London’s West End.
Coriolanus is one of the Bard’s later plays, apparently written in the period after
Macbeth but before
The Tempest. Starring in the title role is Tom Hiddleston, who starred in the excellent miniseries
The Night Manager and played Loki, Thor’s often unpredictable brother, in the
Avengers movies.
