Jack Lemmon stars in this 1960 Best Picture Oscar-winner, playing the absolute definition of a company player: He’s an office worker who makes his New York apartment available to his corporate bosses for their clandestine romantic trysts. Directed by Billy Wilder, and co-starring, in a strong early role, Shirley MacLaine.

This season’s already confusing story line gets even more confusing, as the conspiracy and the villainy goes international. Two team members are hidden aboard a flight that follows Malick and his evil crew all the way to Russia, where even more inhumans await.

SERIES PREMIERE: This is a warning, not a recommendation. There are roles and series in which I’ve really liked Melissa George, but not this time. She plays a heart surgeon who can do no wrong, in or out of the operating room, and barrels through every scene like Dr. House on high heels. It doesn’t work – though NBC’s plan, of giving it a sneak preview right after tonight’s edition of The Voice, just might. For a full review, see Ed Bark’s Uncle Barky’s

Episode 8. In last week’s episode, the glove didn’t fit – giving defense attorney Johnnie Cochran half of his trial-winning rhyming couplet. And yet, at this point in the narrative, there remain three full episodes to go. What’s left? Tonight, we see things from the point of view of the jurors, who are of the general opinion that they’ve been sequestered quite long enough.

Medical dramas have had mini-resurgence this season with decent ratings for newcomers Code Black (CBS) and Chicago Med (NBC). The Peacock’s Heartbeat (9 p.m. ET Tuesday) could use a chill pill, though...

Even legends die eventually. Or, as hapless waiter Manuel of Fawlty Towers would have said, “hee-vent-whally.” This past week, the U.K. newspaper The Guardian reported that the rustic, seaside hotel that inspired John Cleese’s classic comedy Fawlty Towers, has been demolished...

We know how attached the Penguin was to his mother – but what was his relationship with his father? We learn that tonight, as the Cobblepot patriarch shows up. And he’s played, once again, by Paul Reubens, who played an older version of Penguin’s dad in 1992’s Batman Returns (pictured), and just reappeared with a new Pee-Wee Herman movie on Netflix.

Last week’s audition and battle rounds were equally good, and tonight the battle rounds continue. As mentors, the most interesting guest star, of course, is Gwen Stefani, who is helping the singers chosen by (who else?) Blake Shelton. Theirs is an extra unscripted dynamic in this otherwise tightly formatted show – as is Shelton’s on-camera back-and-forth with Adam Levine.

CYCLE PREMIERE: This show returns for a new round of dancers, and this cycle marks the return of original judge Len Goodman. Now for the warning: Competing amateur dancers this time include Geraldo Rivera from Fox News, Jodie Sweetin from Fuller House, and Marla Maples, ex-wife of Donald Trump. If any of those three celebrity names makes you more inclined to tune in to this edition of Dancing with the Stars, you’re visiting the wrong website.
