SEASON FINALE: A lot of parallel plot lines meet tonight, in the season finale. It’s Adam’s opening night on stage – a night that raises a conflict for Hannah, because of the news she’s gotten unexpectedly. And unexpected news hits all the other girls, too, in ways that will leave many of them, and many viewers, spinning between seasons.

Billy Joel surprised his audience at Madison Square Garden Friday night by bringing out someone to join him that most of us wouldn't expect: AC/DC singer Brian Johnson. We here at TVWW preferred an appearance by Joel earlier in the week with Jimmy Fallon..

On TNT at 6 p.m. ET, San Diego State, seeded No. 4 in the West

This 2013 movie is a perfect storm of controversial Hollywood players. Bret Easton Ellis wrote this psychological thriller, Paul Schrader directed it, and Lindsay Lohan stars in it. I haven’t seen it, but given all the media firestorm surrounding Lohan of late, my DVR is set.

John Leguizamo's latest one-man show is less a comedy concert than a comedy confessional: a biographical romp through his life, no matter how dark or unusual that trail might lead. Which makes, of course, for an interesting journey.

This DVD compilation has a bad title, for two misleading reasons... One is that Jay Tarses’ bold NBC comedy lasted only two seasons, in 1983-84, so it might as well have been called Buffalo Bill: The Complete Series...
